There is perhaps no story as epic or faith inspiring in the Old Testament as the Jewish exodus from slavery in Egypt. This great story of the redemption of a people, the judgment on their enemies and the grace of God points to the ultimate moment of redemption, judgment and grace in the cross of Jesus Christ.
We began our journey though Exodus during our Sunday morning Worship Gatherings in the fall of 2009, and are going through the book in segments. The current three-week segment journeys through Exodus 11-13, the story of the Jewish Passover (details below). This series will explore the history and meaning behind the Jewish Passover and how Jesus Christ fulfills the Passover through his death, burial and resurrection.
