We encourage one another toward personal spiritual growth in LTGs. These subgroups of 2-3 persons meet weekly to read the Bible (hearing and responding to God), pray for non-believing friends and confess sin (growing in Christ-likeness through the gospel). LTG’s are organized by Community Groups, so the best first step toward participation is to get active in the life of a particular Community Group. Regular participants in both the Worship Gathering and a Community Group who are also on the Pathway to Partnership may join an LTG. Find out more about joining LTG’s by clicking here.
LTG Resources – The LTG Roadmap
No matter where you are in the process of LTG participation, you can find helpful information in the LTG Roadmap.
- Part 1: “What are LTG’s” - includes more details about what LTG’s are, the requirements for participation, and the avenue for joining them. (download)
- Part 2: “For new and growing groups” - includes instructions for the first 3-4 meetings after a new LTG begins or an older one gains new participants. (download)
- Part 3: “LTG Card F.A.Q.” - includes answers to common questions and solutions to common difficulties in LTG’s. It is organized according to the LTG card’s three main sections: biblical truth (how to read and understand the Bible…), character questions (developing trust, overcoming sin…), and missional living (how to share the gospel…). - The LTG card - this card contains all the instructions for conducting a regular LTG meeting time. (download)
