Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. ~ Matthew 19:14

Nurturing and equipping children

Christ placed a high priority on children. We can certainly do nothing greater than follow the example of our Savior.  With that in mind, we are committed to nurturing and equipping your children as they move towards Jesus Christ in Metanoia’s Kids CAMP (Christ Adventures Moving People) and Kids Quest children ministries.

Kids CAMP (3 months – 2nd grade)

MKC LOGO_LG

Children aged 3 months-2nd grade are served by Metanoia partners and volunteers who go through an application and background check process. See below for the volunteer process.

The goal of our volunteers is to provide a safe, loving environment for children to encounter Christ while their parents and older siblings worship during the Sunday morning Worship Gathering. (Find out more about our Worship Gathering here.)

Kids CAMP Children are divided into age groups:
  • Green Team: 3mo-24 mo
  • Yellow Team: 2-3 years
  • Orange Team: PreK-Kindergarten
  • Red Team: 1st-2nd grade

Kids Quest (grades 3-6)

Older children, our Kids Quest, (grades 3-6) who can comprehend the songs and sermons are encouraged to participate in the Worship Gathering with their parents. We believe it is important that children see their parents engage with the church community in song, prayer, and hearing the sermon. Sundays from 9:45am – 10:20am (before the Worship Gathering), a Children Ministry teacher meets with Kids QUEST for a Sunday School Bible lesson and prayer.
